Saturday, October 10 - Saturday, October 24, 2015
Spanish
9:00AM to 1:00PM
(8.00 Hours)

Description

Course ID 84723
This workshop focuses on a few key caregiving practices that reflect the underlying philosophy and basic strategies of PITC. The emphasis is on application: How will this look in my caregiving setting? What do I do that matches the PITC approach? What new approaches or strategies will support me as I work with very young children and their families? This workshop encourages you to apply your knowledge and make decisions based on video or real stories about children. In addition, you will have extended learning assignments or "homework" to help with personalizing the content and making it real for you. We believe that participating in this active decision-making will help you apply PITC principles and implement the curriculum. It's more than learning "about PITC" it's about "applying PITC".
