Define “Farm to Early Care'', including three main components: gardening, nutrition education, and local food purchasing. Identify relevant resources to utilize farm to early care-related content in participants’ unique settings. Consider ways to incorporate food and nutrition into education, exploration, and engaging activities for children.

Learning Objectives

Participants who complete the module will be able to:
● describe at least one way farm to early care can support healthy eating and nutrition in their setting.
● access at least two relevant resources for classroom activities and curriculum related to farm to early care for their setting.

Participant Support Accommodations

Participants must have a Develop ID. Attendance will be documented on participants’ Develop Learning Record after completion of the course. Participants must navigate Anytime Learning via the Eager-to-Learn platform.
Minimum requirements: internet, computer/ipad, or other technology source to view online training.
Anytime Learning is self-paced and has the instructor recorded audio for each PowerPoint slide. Participants can take as much time as they need to reflect, process, and take notes. Reflection opportunities will be provided throughout the course.
The module will include videos, interactive quizzes (matching, true or false, sequencing), supplemental readings and a web-based lecture to support different learning styles.
A script will be provided so participants can read what is said in the voiceover of the presentation.
