Explore health and safety standards and best practices related to medication administration, allergy response, standard precautions, food safety, physical premises safety, hazardous materials handling, risk reduction, mandated reporting, emergency preparedness, active supervision, all within the context of understanding children’s developmental abilities and needs. (This 8-hour course is designed to meet the health and safety training orientation requirement and is required if you are providing legal nonlicensed child care to an unrelated child and want to be paid by the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).)
