Description

After successfully completing this Training of Trainers, individuals will be qualified to train the 8 hour series based course: Supervising for Safety - Legally Non-licensed. This course is required for those providing legal nonlicensed child care to an unrelated child and want to be paid by the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). It meets the health and safety training orientation requirement. Participants will explore challenges related to providing child care in their home for the children of families, friends and neighbors. We’ll look at strategies that can be used by providers who want to pursue a career in child care and those who only provide care to children informally.
