I have over 30 years of experience in education & mental health through; parenthood, skills therapy, home visiting, teaching, and other consultant work. I am a strong advocate for SEL, learner readiness, parents, equity and community. I believe in relationship-based interventions and impacting cultural & trauma responsive practices via training, coaching and mentoring. I have worked in universities, mental health firms, school districts & early learning programs (including NAEYC accredited & 4 Star Parent Aware Rated) I have gained a deep respect for parents' and educators’ dedication to their children & families. Because I was a teen parent & am a parent and grandparent within a diverse family including exceptional needs and DLL; it’s meaningful to support providers in this field and beyond. I contract directly with programs & individuals pursuing goals to shape learning environments, curriculum & impact equitable practices in our community.
