Jonathan Fribley’s passion is to assist early educators in bringing our best selves to our lives with children. I am a learning partner – coach, mentor, facilitator – in exploring adult-child interactions, the power of relationships, and developing the tools of growing people, including language, literacy, curiosity and thinking skills. I work with early childhood programs around the United States - child care, Head Start, school-based programs, etc - connecting professional development to practices that make a difference in the lives of children and early educators. I have over 30 years of experience as an early educator and in guiding educators, including coordinating and leading professional development for major federal early childhood grant projects. If you are considering how to grow the capacity of your program, I would be glad to listen to your needs and discuss if it might be fruitful for us to work together.

RBPD Specialist Credentials
Jonathan Fribley has used the CLASS tool to facilitate educators’ interaction skills since 2005. He is a learning partner – facilitator, coach, mentor – in exploring adult-child interactions, the power of relationships, and developing the tools of growing people, including language, literacy, curiosity and thinking skills. His CLASS work ranges from sessions introducing educators to CLASS, to day-long seminars on specific dimensions such as quality of feedback or concept development, to year-long practicums coupled with coaching. He partners with sites to integrate CLASS interactions with other program tools such as curriculum into the daily practices of educators. He works with early childhood programs around the United States, including Head Start programs, child care providers, school districts, and charter school networks. He believes that when educators understand both children and ourselves then we can show up as who we hope to be and make a difference in children's lives.
